Season 6 - Week 9 Challenges Available Now We're almost at the end now! Week 9 of Season 6 has arrived and the new set of challenges is now available. Here's what you need to do: Free Challenges Get 30s of airtime in a vehicle (30) Get a score of 10 or more on different Carnival Clown Boards (3) Stage 1: Consume Mushrooms (5) Battle Pass Challenges Deal damage to players with a Clinger, Stink Bomb, or a Grenade (300) Deal damage to opponent structures with Dynamite (10,000) Rocket or Grenade Launcher eliminations (3) Stage 1: Deal damage with Grenades to opponents (100) Struggling to complete any challenges? The New 'portal' Above Leaky Lake Will Progress Through Six Stages A new portal/rift appeared in the sky yesterday following the return of the floating island to the center of Leaky Lake. According to lavamanthegreat_ over on reddit, it is expected to go through six different stages, though what each entails is currently unknown. Fortnitemares Teaser #2 Epic have released a tweet showcasing a new teaser for the upcoming Fortnitemares event. This time, it features a rune (on a cube?) surrounded by a chain.  It was joined with the following caption: "Tombstones quake, Keep your finger steady.  The circle will close,  Better be ready. " Fortnitemares is expected to begin with next week's patch. Though no date has yet been given, we should expect it to drop as soon as Tuesday, October 23. Fortnitemares Teaser Hints At Potential Return of Ghoul Trooper Fortnite have just tweeted a new teaser for the upcoming Fortnitemares event. The image, shown below, appears to feature a male variant of the already existing Ghoul Trooper skin "Costumes and dancing, Partner up, be wise. They could be friendly, Or a ghoul in disguise. " While this isn't confirmed, it seems likely based on the way Skull Trooper's return was handled earlier this month. With Halloween falling just 10 days from now, we're expecting this update to drop with next week's patch.
